📢 How to get a verified artist profile on Spotify?

Thanks to our Spotify partner status, obtaining a 'verified' badge on Spotify is very simple and almost instantaneous.

If your artist profile does not appear in the claim search, try searching with its Spotify artist URI (spotify:artist:...) instead of the artist name. You can find the URI in the profile link: copy the ID after /artist/ and enter spotify:artist: followed by that ID. For example, https://open.spotify.com/artist/2UXs1dyKHTOVjbi070MB2R corresponds to spotify:artist:2UXs1dyKHTOVjbi070MB2R. If the release is not online yet, the artist profile may not have been created; wait until the release is available and the platform has created the profile.

🔴 Important note:

  • First distribution via Wiseband: Your first distribution via Wiseband may take up to a week to be recognized by the system and verify your artist profile.
  • Retry if problems occur: If you receive a message indicating that you have no publications online on Spotify or that it hasn't been detected yet, try again in 24 to 48 hours.

🎵 Claim your profile before your first release is live

You can request access to your Spotify for Artists profile before it has any live content:

  1. Go to Spotify for Artists and sign in with your Spotify account. A free listener account can be used.
  2. Find the artist profile. If it does not appear in the menu, use the artist URI supplied for your upcoming release to locate it.
  3. Submit the access request. If Spotify asks for proof that you are the artist or part of the team, provide the upcoming release name and its UPC or EAN. These codes are available in Distribution > Catalogue > Résumé du produit in Wiseband.
  4. If Spotify confirms it will review the request and email you within three days, wait for that response rather than submitting another request.

An empty profile may require Spotify to request additional release information. If the profile or upcoming release is not visible yet, allow time for delivery and processing; the release may take a few days to appear in Spotify for Artists.
