Changes to your distribution
Product changes are possible on Wiseband. However, they are regulated and billed per product*.
Below are examples of what can and cannot be modified.
✅ Allowed Changes
You may request modifications to the following elements:
- Cover artwork
- Title
- Version
- Audio file
⚠️ Within reasonable limits: only minor changes are accepted.
The structure and composition must remain identical, and the duration difference must be less than 3 seconds.
- Standard metadata:
- Authors (first name, last name)
- Composers (first name, last name)
- Producers
- Arrangers
- Publishers
- Original release date and requested release date
- Lyrics
- “Explicit” or “Non-explicit” flag
- Music genre
- Audio language
- Social media preview clip
- Primary artists (order or number)
- Featured artists (order or number)
- Remixing artists (order or number)
- Label
- Territories
⛔️ Limitations
A modification must not alter the structure of the product or its associated identification codes.
It is therefore not possible to modify:
- The number of tracks in a product
- The track order
- The number of discs (volumes)
- The disc order (volumes)
- UPC code
- ISRC codes
- Catalogue number (for releases delivered to electronic music platforms)

⚠️ Modification Fees (excluding Partners)
A €10 service fee applies to any metadata modification request, per product.
❗ Deleting and resubmitting a release in order to avoid these fees is strictly prohibited.
This may result in:
- The removal of your release
- Or the closure of your Wiseband account
