To successfully release your music project on online platforms, it's essential to properly plan your timeline.

🎯 Why Plan Your Release in Advance?

Music distribution is not instantaneous. To guarantee a smooth and well-visible release on platforms, you need to account for:

• The verification time of your project by the Wiseband team.
• The processing by each platform.
• A potential promotional campaign (pitch and/or marketing).

Our distribution team ensures that each release meets the technical and editorial standards of the platforms. This process may require metadata adjustments or exchanges with you.

To optimize your chances of gaining visibility and guarantee a smooth release on the big day, we recommend respecting a one-month delay between uploading your project and the desired release date.

1️⃣ Standard Delivery Times

Each streaming platform has its own processing time. Here's an overview of estimated delays:

🔴 Recommendations for a Successful Release

✅ General Platforms (Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music,…)

• Recommended delay: minimum 1 month before release date.
• This delay includes internal Wiseband validation (up to 10 business days) and processing by platforms.

✅ Electronic Music Platforms

• Recommended delay: minimum 1 month and a half.
• This includes potential creation of your label and specific delays for each store.

🎧 Important Note Regarding Spotify for Artists

Once your project is validated by our distribution team and sent to platforms, its appearance in your Spotify for Artists console may take a few additional days. It's therefore normal that your project doesn't appear immediately in your Spotify backstage access.
